Devil's Falls at Pokhara

Pokhara has many more things to offer in terms of tourist attraction. There are lakes, caves, water falls, a river, many long and short treks that take you to the interior mountains

Patale Chhango (Hell's Falls), more commonly called "Devi's or David's Falls" for the tourist with some melodramatic story behind it. The water from this falls comes from the lake flowing to the Seti. The water plunges into a hole and disappears! In monsoon this sight is most spectacular. Nearby, across the street is a little cave (Gupteshwor Cave). Devil’s Fall in in the gorge of the Seti River. It is a magnificent water fall next to Gupteswar Gupha. You can have a day long picnic by the falls. Be careful as there are legends about people drowning in the fall.
